About Isaak

Isaak Belongia has been around pianos for practically his whole life. His journey began at age six, when he started piano lessons. He followed music throughout high school and into college, continuing piano while also playing trombone and tuba for the Omaha North High School band. During his time in college, Isaak studied jazz & classical piano, music theory, and composition. Isaak graduated magna cum laude in 2021 with a B.A. in Music from Colorado College, in Colorado Springs. He received departmental honors and earned membership into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

 

After returning to his hometown of Omaha, Isaak spent a couple years working at Schmitt Music, where he directed the music lesson program and taught piano. It was during this time that he first dove into the technical side of pianos. As he began his education as a piano technician, Isaak worked with mentor Keith Byrkit, RPT, and eventually formed Isaak Belongia Piano Service in July 2023.
